Common Area Swimming Pools

There are four common area swimming pools at Al Bandar. This includes two lap pools, one in Al Naseem and one in Al Barza. The main swimming pool with an adjoining children's pool and Jacuzzi is located next to the Clubhouse. The pools are surrounded by contemporary pool lounges, tables and chairs with large shade cloths over the deck. All the pools at Al Bandar are temperature controlled which means you can swim all year round. The pools are open from 6am to 10pm, seven days a week and the main pool is patrolled by trained lifeguards. The swimming pools and Jacuzzi at Al Bandar are currently serviced by EMCO Engineering.

Gymnasium

The gymnasium at Al Bandar is located in the Clubhouse, the two-storey recreational and relaxation centre exclusively for residents of Al Bandar. The gymnasium covers an area of 125m2 and contains the latest in fitness equipment from "Cybex" including 3 running machines, 2 exercise bikes, 2 cross trainers, 1 rowing machine and a large selection of free weights and machine weights. Group classes of yoga, zumba and aqua aerobics are currently run by Alchemy Lifestyle. The gym is open from 6am to 10pm seven days a week and is free to use for Al Bandar residents. The gym is managed by the Al Bandar Property Management team. There is also a dance studio in the Clubhouse, with dance lessons currently being provided for children and adults by Expressions Dance & Drama. Onsite Security

The entire Al Bandar project is protected 24/7 by onsite security. Security guards patrol the common areas and each of the entrances to the different precincts. The security services are provided by the same company that provides the concierge services, Emrill Services LLC. As well as providing security, Emrill Services LLC provides MEP & FM Services, Cleaning, Pest Control and External Cleaning using BMU.

Underground Car Park

There are 946 car parking spaces at Al Bandar for residents and visitors - 626 resident spaces, 12 disabled spaces, 177 underground visitor spaces, 3 spaces reserved for Spinney's Beverage, 3 spaces reserved for HealthPlus, 5 spaces for staff parking and 120 visitors (temporary overflow parking just after the bridge). The secure parking is all located at basement level. The residents of each building can park their cars directly under their building and there is lift access directly to their floor. Because there is limited ground-level parking, this makes for a safer community plus it is more ascetically pleasing. Each car park is well signed and colour coded and secured by security boom gates. A paid parking system will soon be introduced for visitors to the community.

Lanscaped Gardens

There is a significant amount of landscaping and grassed areas throughout Al Bandar. This includes garden beds located around the common area pools, under each of the towers, grassed areas around the pools and landscaping along the pathways throughout the project. The gardens at Al Bandar are currently maintained by Jenny Flower.

Lift/Elevators

There are 22 elevators throughout the Al Bandar development – 4 in each tower of Al Naseem, 4 in Al Barza, 2 in Al Manara and then 2 for the podium and one each in the supermarket building and the Clubhouse. The elevators service up to fifteen floors in the Al Naseem towers and up to nine levels in the Al Barza building. The elevators were supplied and are serviced by ETA and Kone.

Retail Shops

Al Bandar has a total of 20 retail outlets with over 5,000 m2 of retail space. The retail shops are located in the supermarket building, the Clubhouse, the Al Barza building, "Pacifico" on the marina and in three kiosks along the promenade. There is a Spinney's Market and Spinney's Liqour store at Al Bandar including an optometrist, pharmacy, beauty shops and a medical centre. The restaurants and cafes include Nolu's Café, Bricco Italian restaurant (opening soon) and a high-end restaurant planned in the Pacifico building out on the marina. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at a unique setting over Al Raha Beach's premier marina.

Common Change Rooms

Located in the Clubhouse are the men's and women's changing rooms. The changing rooms come equipped with lockers, showers and bathroom facilities and are available for use by all residents during the hours of 6am to 10pm, seven days a week.

Security Cameras

There are 22 elevators throughout the Al Bandar development – 4 in each tower of Al Naseem, 4 in Al Barza, 2 in Al Manara and then 2 for the podium and one each in the supermarket building and the Clubhouse. Equipped Kitchens

Each apartment in Al Bandar comes equipped with the latest kitchen appliances. This includes contemporary cabinets, oven, range hood, gas stove and dishwashers. All apartments come with built-in fridges and freezers while the laundries come with a combined washer/dryer. The user manuals for all the appliances in the apartments have been uploaded to the Community Portal and so are available for residents electronically.

Balconies and Decks

Most of the apartments in Al Bandar have balconies, timber decks or large terraces which all take advantage of the views and cool breezes of the Arabian Gulf. The outdoor areas have been designed to take advantage of the views up and down the Al Raha Beach coast and across to Yas Island. Unlike most developments in the region, apartments at Al Bandar have generous outdoor living areas, some with outdoor areas over two storeys.

Children's Play Room

A popular destination for the children living at Al Bandar is the Children's Play Room located in the Clubhouse. While parents are enjoying the facilities such as the gymnasium or squash courts, the children can play on one of the provided Playstations or Xbox. Children can bring their own games and play against each other on the 4 mounted TV sets. The room is not supervised but is available for use between the hours of 6am to 10pm, seven days a week. The room can be booked out through security for children's parties or mother's groups.

Intercom System

The video intercom system installed and in use at Al Bandar is a "Fermax" system, the latest in security intercom systems. The intercom system within the apartments includes a small TV screen showing video of people requesting access to their apartments.

Concierge

Each building in Al Bandar is greeted by 24-hour concierge personnel. The concierge services at Al Bandar are currently contracted out to Emrill Services LLC. The concierge personnel assist residents with any enquiries, assist with moving in and out, welcome residents and guests and are generally the resident's first point of contact for all building-related matters.

BBQ Facilities

Located on Level 1 of The Clubhouse next to the entertainment room is a BBQ pit which can be hired out by residents for up to 4 hours (charges apply). Residents can then use the adjoining lounge room to entertain their guests and relax in air-conditioned style. This area is expected to be popular with residents during the cooler months as they enjoy outdoor cooking while watching the sun set over the Gulf. Bookings for the BBQ pit can be made with security however residents will soon be able to make bookings online via the Community Portal.

Squash Courts

There are 2 squash courts in the Clubhouse at Al Bandar. Like the tennis court, bookings can be made with security however soon residents will be able to make reservations online via the Community Portal. The squash courts have viewing areas on the ground floor plus there is a viewing deck upstairs for anyone interested in a bird's eye view of the game. Residents need to supply their own squash rackets and balls. The squash courts are open from 6am to 10pm, seven days a week.

Tennis Courts

The tennis court at Al Bandar is located next to the main pool. The court is a hard-court surface and is well shaded during the day by the imposing towers of Al Naseem A and Al Naseem B. The court has benches to relax on during points. Reservations for the court can be made through security however soon residents will be able to make reservations online via the Community Portal. Residents need to supply their own tennis rackets and balls. The tennis court is open from 6am to 10pm, seven days a week. Any residents who would like to book a tennis lesson can do so by contacting Willem at Professional Sports Services (PPS) on 050 705 36 86.

Games Room

Within The Clubhouse residents and children can choose between a children's play room with beanbags, TV's with Playstation and Xbox while up on Level 1 there is a pool room and foosball table. Currently bookings for the pool room are not necessary however some of the equipment will be held with reception.

Spa

A spa or Jacuzzi is located outside next to the main common area swimming pool. The spa is not heated during the warmer months but can be during the cooler winter months. The spa is for adults only. Users of the spa can enjoy a great view of the pool and the surrounding landscaped gardens. The swimming pools and Jacuzzi at Al Bandar are currently serviced by EMCO Engineering.

Sauna

A separate sauna is available for both men and women in the changing rooms at the Clubhouse. Relax those tired or sore muscles after a workout in the gym or after a game of tennis or squash. The Clubhouse is open to residents from 6am to 10pm, seven days a week.

Children's Pool

There is a small children's pool next to the main community pool. The pool is completely shaded and has cascading waterfalls for the kids to enjoy. Like the main pool, the children's pool is open from 6am to 10pm, seven days a week and is patrolled by trained lifeguards.

Lap Pool

There are two lap pools at Al Bandar, one between Al Naseem B and Al Naseem C and the other is located in Al Barza. The lap pool at Al Naseem is built over the water of the marina while the pool at Al Barza has amazing views of the Gulf across to Yas Island and the Yas Marina Circuit. Both pools are surrounded by wooden decks and come with contemporary pool furniture.

Roof Decks

Located on Level 1 of the Clubhouse is a roof and entertainment deck available for residents where they can host parties or social functions. The roof deck includes an air-conditioned lounge room or majlis with sofas and tables for guests. Bookings for the roof deck and room can be made with security however residents will soon be able to make bookings online via the Community Portal. Charges apply for the use of the residents room on the roof deck of Level 1.

Entertainment Room

Located in the Clubhouse are entertainment areas for residents with lounges and TV's. Also available for the children is a play room with TV's and Playstations. Residents can use these rooms and lounge areas to meet their neighbours for social functions, community meetings or just to relax and unwind. A juice bar is available in the lounge area of the Clubhouse which will soon house a commercial juice operator.

Excercise Room

On Level 1 of the Clubhouse is an exercise room that also acts as a dance studio. Group classes such as yoga and Zumba are held in this room as are dance classes for kids and adults. Yoga and Zumba is currently being run by Alchemy Lifestyle while dance lessons currently being provided by Expressions Dance & Drama.
