Q4. Can I relocate my fibre free of Charge or must I first pay the balance of contract before I can relocate ?
A4. Yes, you can relocate your Vodacom fibre to your new location/address free of Charge and without penalties. However, the Fibre network operator and pricing might change.
Q5. I had a promotional discount for my fibre serviced, and now being informed of the new package and price, what happens to the discount?
A5. Any active discounts on the previous price will be shown on your new monthly invoice (the discount term/length was stated on the quotation you signed)

KGJL AGM 8th MAY'23 - ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN GUIDELINE REVIEW - to be discussed at the meeting
Posted on: 25-04-2023Dear Owners of KG&J ,
Underneath some Design Guideline changes that will be discussed and decided on at the upcoming AGM.
KGJL DESIGN GUIDELINE REVIEW:
Items to review:
The following items has been identified as items in the guideline that must be reviewed and revised.. At the AGM of 8 May 2023 you will have the opportunity to approve or reject the revisions on the items:
1. Approval of Aluminium curved Awnings over backdoors in the service yards.
2. The introduction of a stand alone lean-to Carport structure. The Guide will include a single pitch roof structure as an option for carports as a stand-alone structure.
3. Introduction of a Valley Roof Option. This will allow 1 roof connection per structure with the condition that one other connecting element or protruding Minor form element has a concrete roof. This does not replace the use of concrete roofs as the connection elements. In this way it helps to reduce the concrete roof percentage for practical reasons.
It is encouraged that concrete roofs have overhangs and not be placed behind parapet walls with oulets. Concrete roofs must also be maintained and owners are to do maintenance on waterproofing every 6 months.
4. The introduction of a second paint colour in shades darker than the existing approved colours.
By introducing a second colour for external accent walls we allow more definition of elements and a form of individuality to the home owners. This will be to a max of 20% of the total external walls and must be placed strategically on the facade.
PROPOSAL:
Colour combinations for Primary wall colour and Secondary Wall colour will be provided in the Guideline.
5. The Natural stone cladding - Loeriesfontein is no longer available and very hard to get hold of. It becomes a problem when there is additions and alterations to existing structures that already have the Loeriesfontein cladding. – 2 different natural stone claddings on 1 structure can not be permitted
PROPOSAL:
The new addition of a braai/chimney/fireplace be finished with plaster and painted in the same colour as the existing structure or if approved as per point 4, be painted in a secondary colour. All new applications/structures will have to adhere to the existing guideline point 3.1.5 And be finished with a natural stone cladding as pre-approved.
6. The Yard wall heights is at 1800mm but is in some cases not high enough to hide the JOJO tanks.
PROPOSAL:
We propose the privacy screen wall be allowed in the same details use for the gates and fences for those who has already installed these tanks.
All new JOJO tanks must be in the following colour : Winter Grass or Stormy Sky
7. Boundary walls – ( this item is not to vote on but service as a clarification of the rules)
The original guidelines did not allow for dogs to be kept. Dogs must be kept in a yard thus the revisions. These walls must be predominantly to the side or common boundaries. Once again not the full length of the boundary. This means excluding the golf course, street or public open space building line areas.
Common Boudnaries (side Boudnaries) may have 1500mm boundary walls but must be stepped back or lowered in the building lines - 3000mm on the back boundary and 5000mm on the front/street boundary.
they do not have to be staggered 600mm every 5000mm.
Privacy screen walls can be done up to 1800mm on the Common Boundaries but not the full length of the boundary. This must be applied for in writing and sent to the Estate Office and will be evaluated on site before approval.
On boundaries facing the golf course, the total length of boundary wall in relation to that boundary “length” needs to be less than 30%. and must be 1200mm or less.
On boundaries facing the open spaces, the total length of boundary wall in relation to that boundary “length” can be 100%. and must be 1200mm or less. If the wall is higher and at 1500mm the wall in relation to that boundary “length” must be no more than 60%
The Street Boundaries must adhere to 22.1-22.3 in the Guide.

Kalahari Golf en Jag Landgoed HOA - December year end & Security Notice / JPS Trust Kersbrief
Posted on: 17-11-2022Good day to all KGJL owners, residents and guests,
It is that time of the year where festivities and holidays will enjoy precedence over work and for everyone to slow down and treat themselves to some well-earned relaxation and time off.
Therefore the management of KGJL has decided to increase our security presence and to implement new rules which would ensure a care free holiday away from home.
Please note the following changes with effective dates:
- Building contractors to cease all operations from 19 Des”22 until 03 Jan”23. For this period KGJL residents will be allowed to utilize the contractor gate at the West entrance.
- Rhino security to increase fence patrols. Currently the fence are being cut clear of obstacles and vegetation are being poison controlled.
- All alarm boxes are being serviced and checked for operationality.
- Fence cameras will be rechecked to ensure optimum service.
Security cannot be solely bestowed as a responsibility on the KGJL management, therefore your help and alertness is needed to keep our Estate safe. Everyone can help and the following points can help to keep us safe:
- Report all and every suspicious act on the security WhatsApp group. Even if you are unsure, report and let Rhino Security confirm.
- Your pin – Your responsibility, the pin codes is not there for convenience. Please make sure of whom you want to allow entry.
- Arm your alarm system and if you don’t have one, try and install one.
- Ensure that all your windows and doors are locked prior to your departure
- Make it look like someone is there when you are away. Install light motion sensors or let the radio or television play, devices are smart today and take time to set on and off times at irregular intervals.
- Don’t brag about your holiday on social media, do this when you are back home, thus nobody will know your whereabouts.
- Hide and lock your valuables, even give to a trusted friend or relative to look after when you are not at home.
- Especially with today’s load shedding, ask a friend to regularly check your house and to ensure that everything is in working order.
- Lastly, get a trusted house sitter to look after your house and to be always present.
We are continuously ensuring that our security system is operational at optimum levels within our means and budget. We have identified the need to upgrade our security systems and are busy lodging projects for 2023 which will include but not be limited to the following:
- Stricter access control measures with upgraded pin code system
- Distinction of garden and house workers
- More aggressive speed control system
- Pro shop/The Deck access entry guarding system
- General services access scrutiny
We thank you for your cooperation in this regard and wish you and your family a merry Christmas and happy new year.
Best wishes

Kalahari G&J Landgoed HOA Owners - Results of the Referendum 2022 AGM - 31 Aug'22
Posted on: 11-09-2022Dear Owners of Kalahari Golf en Jag Landgoed HOA,
Herewith the results of the referendum voting that took place by round robin.
Request to allow cats on the estate: This Resolution did not pass. The majority of the owners voted for NO CATS. This does not require any changes in the Rules , seen that the rules will stay as it is, and prohibiting any cats.
Request to stop the yearly renewals of the dogs licenses: This resolution did pass and the majority of the owners who took part in the referendum voted to terminate it. So therefor the House rules will be adjusted so that you pay a once-off license fee for your dog, and do not need to renew it every year thereafter.
The results as mentioned above are without the developers votes. He has decided to first let the owners vote on it and did not want to influence the outcome.

Kalahari Golf en Jag Landgoed HEV - New Levy Schedule with 10% increase1st March 2022
Posted on: 28-02-2022Dear Owners, please take note that the directors were forced to increase he levies this year with 10%. This was mainly due to a couple of unpleasant security incidents the last couple of months that caused for a new Security company to be appointed. The new service is about R50 000,00 per month more expensive, due to more guards and presence, and there for the levies had to be increased to accommodate this increase.
It must be taken note of that there were no increases in levies for the past 3 years. On this month levy schedule, you will notice that the Rental admin and Road maintenance fees are still the old fee, because it is still for February. This will also increase on the 1st March next month.
PAYMENT REFERENCE:
There are still owners who do not use the correct reference nr. with payments. This cause for payments be wrongly allocated. Please make sure of your latest reference nr. which appears in the left bottom corner of every invoice and statement. It starts with LP0038340 _ _ _ . All ref. nr. will start with these 9 codes and you must just complete it by using your unique last 3 nr’s as it appears on you invoice. Do not put any name or erf nr. in front or behind this 12 digit code because the system reads it automatically from back to front and allocate the payments then to your account.
Kind regards,
Thea Jordaan

JPS Trust Holiday and Christmas wishes Dec 2020
Posted on: 13-12-2020Dear Owners/Agents
What an eventful year we had!!! Not in our wildest dreams we could have thought that this could ever happen in our life time. A Global pandemic!!!
Thank you owners for paying your levies so religiously even during difficult times. We really appreciate that and as the result we could still cover all the costs and did not have to let any contractor go.
It’s been an absolute pleasure working with each and every owner or agent representing an owner during the past year.
Please find attached letter from JPS Trust office and myself.
Enjoy every precious moment with your family and friends during the Holiday Season and stay healthy and safe.
Kind regards,
