Broadway Park - dog litter

Dear Members

The ad hoc dog litter bin along James Cook Crescent has now been removed. The council have stopped servicing this bin some time back and despite the bin being full it was being left overflowing by residents as they passed and continued to add dog litter, creating a rather unsanitary situation.

The bin has now been emptied and removed and we kindly ask residents that are walking dogs to pick up dog litter, return home and dispose of dog litter in the private bins.

Dear Members

This is a reminder that, as per the Broadway Park rules, when Pets are outside the boundaries of the resident’s property or unit, they must be under control and supervised. Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Animals are not allowed in the tennis court areas.

SKY UPDATE

Dear Members

Sky are now running on the new Satellite, however there are a couple of things that the residents need to know.

1. Sky OnDemand no longer works on the black Sky decoders. If they want the OnDemand service then they must upgrade to the new white Sky Decoder.
2. Sky business now has a new number which is controlled by Downers. They now look after all Sky installations and callout work nationwide

Broadway park Residents now need to use the following number to contact Sky Business support.

The same people will answer the call. They just work for Downers now.

SCHEDULED VOYAGER OUTAGE

Dear Members

Voyager is carrying out a software upgrade on their Network Routers throughout Auckland.

The process requires their routers to reboot and this will cause loss of all internet services including VoIP phones, CCTV and intercom access to apartments.

The Broadway Park network will be offline for approximately 20 minutes sometime between the hours of 11pm 4/3/25 to 5am 5/3/25.

Please do not try to reset your router at home during this period.

Once Voyager have finished their upgrade, the Broadway Park network will resume to its normal service.

Ron Maurer from AV Digital will be in contact with Voyager technician to confirm that the upgrade was successful and confirm that our network services are all back online.

Should you not have internet on 5/3/25 then feel free to contact Ron on 021 940 459.

Dear Members

We received the following notice this morning from Sky. If you do have any issues turning on Sky today/this evening.

We have an essential maintenance window between 3am and 4am on the 28th of January. Throughout the duration of this window all channels will temporarily go off air resulting in a black screen or the rain fade message.

Your effected channel(s) may not auto restore, if this happens you will need to go to the decoder for this channel and manually change the channel up and then down to restore pictures, or pull the power out of the decoder for 1 min and plug it back in.

If you have any issues please call us on 09 954 0333 or flick us an email on skybusiness@sky.co.nz so we can assist you getting your pictures back up and running.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Our essential maintenance is important to keep our service to our customers running smoothly.

FITNESS CENTRE (LAP POOL) DOOR

Dear Members

Please be advised that the handle on the door for the lap pool area at the Fitness Centre is catching and not closing properly.

Please ensure that the door is closed behind you securely for safety reasons, currently it is being left open on a continuous basis and therefore beeping.

If you are using the tennis courts and hear the beeping, then until this is resolved, please use the handle to close the door.

We have advised the Park Manager and he will get this repaired as soon as possible.
