Swimming Pools
Every villa at Al Gurm comes with its own private swimming pool. The three, four and five-bedroom waterfront villas comes with large infinity pools on Level 2 of the villa overlooking the waterways. The five-bedroom island villas come with large private swimming pools in the backyard of the villa.
Onsite Security
The entire Al Gurm project is protected 24/7 by onsite security. Security guards patrol the common areas and all entrances to the community. They are permanently located in the central command centre, Service Gate and the Main Gate. Residents can inform security for taxis, contractors, food/general deliveries using the following numbers – Service Gate: 055 497 3364 and Main Gate: 055 497 3356. The security services are provided by Saweed Certis.
Secure parking
The three, four and five-bedroom waterfront villas come standard with a three-car garage with automatic door. The garages adjoin the wet kitchens and staff quarters of the villas. The five-bedroom island villas also come standard with garages for up to four cars.
Lanscaped Gardens
There is a significant amount of landscaping and grassed areas throughout the Al Gurm community, in particularly in front of the waterfront villas on the road-side of the community. The landscaping services at Al Gurm are currently contracted out to "Al Jurf". Due to the sensitivity of the natural environment at Al Gurm, chemical fertilizers are strictly prohibited and any products used for the control of pests and diseases must be biodegradable.
Private Beach
The island villas at Al Gurm come with their own private sandy beach that back onto the tranquil waterways around the community. The waterfront villa residents enjoy absolute water frontage with their own private jetty.
Security Cameras
There are 21 security cameras located throughout the community and at all entrances and exits of Al Gurm. The video footage is monitored 24/7 in a central command centre by the appointed security company, Saweed Certis and all video feeds are recorded if needed in the future.
Fully Equipped Kitchens
Each villa in Al Gurm comes with large, open-planned fully equipped kitchens. These contemporary kitchens come equipped with the latest kitchen appliances including wooden cabinets, oven, range hood, gas stove and dishwashers. All villas come with built-in fridges and freezers plus a separate beverage fridge. The laundries come with a combined washer/dryer. The user manuals for all the appliances in the apartments have been uploaded to the Community Portal and so are available for residents electronically.
Balconies and Deck
All of the villas at Al Gurm come standard with outdoor terraces and balconies off most of the bedrooms and living areas. The balconies or decks have large glass sliding doors that open right out to create a sense of indoor/outdoor living. The outdoor spaces at Al Gurm have been designed for residents to enjoy the views and tranquility of the community's surroundings.
Roof Deck
Located on the upper levels of all Villas at Al Gurm are large roof decks. The roof decks in the waterfront villas are shaded by large wooden roofs, with their design inspired by South East Asian architecture. The large roof decks on Level 3 of the large five-bedroom island villas take full advantage of the spectacular views across the Arabian Gulf.
Community Centre
The Aldar Estates team offer residents of Al Gurm community management services during normal business hours i.e. Saturday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm. The staff assist residents with any enquiries, assist with moving in and out, welcome residents and guests and are generally the resident's first point of contact for all community and villa-related matters.
Intercom System
A home automation system comes standard with all villas in Al Gurm. The home automation system is installed and maintained by Federal Technologies, the only UAE company that holds the coveted CAVSP (Certified Audio/Visual Sales Professional) certification. Residents can use this system to adjust curtains, lights, temperature, security cameras, electronics and alarms from anywhere in your villa, even remotely. Different packages from "Coral" to "Diamond" are available for choice. A comprehensive user guide of the home automation system is available for residents to view within the secure section of the Community Portal.
