Kids - Dangerous Behaviour
Posted on: 24-03-2021Good morning owners, agents and residents,
We have received reports of unsupervised children roaming around on Association property and riding their bikes in the water feature area.
This may cause damage to the Association’s property such as lights and may also result in injury to the kids themselves.
In addition, it appears that kids sometimes dart in and out of traffic without paying attention to oncoming cars. This is dangerous not just for the children who may get physically hurt but also for the drivers who may accidentally hit them and will have to deal with the trauma of such an event.
You are bound by by-laws to exercise effective control over your kids.
Please supervise your kids and instruct them to stay away from the water feature and drive their bikes responsibly.
If your property is tenanted, please ensure that the tenants are given this message.
Thank you for your co-operation. -

Update on the Cascades water feature Repairs
Posted on: 17-11-2019Good morning owners,
The water feature has been repaired and today refilled and set to running.
Though the water feature has been leaking for a number of years, Key Strata’s investigations identified some major issues, and these have now all been rectified.
Final testing has been undertaken and Sydney Water has been updated on the outcome of the investigations and associated remedial works.
Sydney Water has also been advised there will be ongoing water usage as the feature is also exposed to climatic conditions and that is no different to a swimming pool.
Sydney Water were also advised that the feature will be put into operation again and they have not objected to this happening.
Water Features are not a prohibited item for level 1 water restrictions.
