PLACE Community Managers wish you and your family Eid Mubarak!
We would like to take this time to remind all occupants of your responsibility to maintain a safe community.
In light of the recent fire incidents across the UAE. PLACE would like to remind all occupants that storage of flammable materials, disposal of cigarette butts, smoking shisha coals and BBQ on balconies are forbidden by the Community and Local Authorities
From very recent fire incidents we know that "wind-blown" cigarettes, shisha coals and BBQ coals pose a significant fire hazard and threaten the personal safety of the occupants and the physical building assets.
PLACE requests all occupants to be vigilant and report any flammable materials or violations to the building security immediately.
The safety of the occupants and building assets are of supreme importance, routine inspections are carried out by Service Providers however the responsibility and care of the occupants to prevent incidents is requested.
Penalties will be implemented in accordance with the local authorities for violation of community and local safety rules.

La Riviera Tower: Fire Alarm Testing

Please note that an internal fire system testing will be conducted on 28th April 2020 (Tuesday) between 9:00 AM to 02:00 PM.
Certified fire protection team (Spectrum) will be on site to perform this inspection.
During this time, it will be necessary for the alarm sounders to function for several minutes as well as repeated evacuation messages shall be heard. This will be repeating several times during the testing period.
These inspections are required by the local Civil Defense Authorities, fire codes, and national standards. With your help, we can get the required inspection done with as little as discomfort to you.
Note: If the sounders are recurrently operating for more than 5 minutes during the test period and if the ‘Evacuation Messages’ are activated on the same time then this is a genuine evacuation indication and all occupants must follow the evacuation procedures immediately.

We are delighted to inform all our homeowner’s that in-line with new Law No 06 of 2019 which was recently issued, we are now taking a new step forward in adopting this new law by waiving the late payment fee on service charges.
It is now officially regulated that going forward from 01st January 2020 there will be no implication of late payment fees on service charges across all homeowner’s association segments in Dubai.

La Riviera Tower: Bicycle Parking

To improve the community appearance, the La Riviera Tower Owners Association requests the owners/ residents/ tenants to kindly ensure to park the bicycles in the designated slots after use.
It has been observed that many bicycles have been parked at the Basement 1, 2 and 3 Level slots without regular movement and not in designated slots.
We request the owners of the bicycles parked in all three Basement Levels to identify and register with the security team on or before 5th October 2019.
This is a generic circular being sent to all tower occupants and owners that unclaimed / abandoned bicycles after the stipulated date will be moved from Basement 1 and 2 to Basement 3 and within 3 months, if unclaimed, will be disposed appropriately.
We hope that you understand and support the above and take the necessary actions to enhance the image of our community.

La Riviera Tower: Temporary Water Shut Down - Revised

Due to urgent maintenance work to be carried out on the water supply system, the supply of water for the building, will be temporarily suspended for 6 hours between 10:00am to 16:00pm on Wednesday, 15th May, 2019.
Residents are kindly asked to be prepared for this situation and make alternative arrangements if you require the use of water during this period.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this work.

La Riviera Tower : Fire Alarm Testing

Dear La Riviera Community,
Please note that an internal fire system testing will be conducted on 24th April 2019 (Wednesday) between 09:30 AM and 02:30 PM .
Certified Fire Protection Team (Spectrum) will be on site to perform this inspection.
During this time it will be necessary for the alarm sounders to function for several minutes as well as repeated evacuation messages shall be heard. This will be repeating several times during the testing period.
These inspections are required by the local Civil Defense Authorities, fire codes, and national standards. With your help, we can get the required inspection done with as little as possible discomfort to you.
Note: If the sounders are recurrently operating for more than 5 minutes during the test period and if the ‘Evacuation Messages’ are activated on the same time then this is a genuine evacuation indication and all occupants must follow the evacuation procedures immediately.

La Riviera Tower : Windows & Facade Cleaning

Dear La Riviera Community,
Please be informed that the windows and façade cleaning will commence on Monday 22nd April 2019 and will take approximately 60 days to complete depending on weather conditions.
Kindly note the Swimming Pool will stay CLOSED from 22nd April 2019 till 23rd April 2019 due to the same.
Occupants are kindly requested to use their curtains to avoid any disturbance and clear balconies of any items as they could get wet or damaged during the process.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this essential work.

La Riviera Tower: Earth Hour

Dear La Riviera Community,
Please note that La Riviera will be taking part in the Earth Hour event on 30th March 2019 (Saturday) between 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
All the exterior lights of the building will be turned off during this period. Occupants are kindly encouraged to participate by turning off their non-essential lights during this hour to show support and help raise awareness about the need to take action on climate change.

La Riviera Tower: Common Area Pest Control

Dear La Riviera Community,
As a part of the preventive measure a routine pest and rodent control treatment will be carried out in the Building’s common areas on Monday 25th March 2019 respectively from 1.00 pm to 5:00 pm.
As precaution, residents are kindly requested to avoid staying within the common area (lift lobby, corridors) for a minimum of 1 hour after the treatment is done.
We highly recommend residents to carry out their own internal unit pest control to coincide with this common area treatment.
