Dear Owners & Residents, We write as Owners Corporation managers for the above property regarding the sewerage pit in North Shore Drive. As you may be aware, there have been numerous incidents where the pits on North Shore Drive have been found to be blocked and required pumping & cleaning out. On 15th September, our office was alerted of high levels in the pit, and it was discovered that the pit was blocked once again. The team from Applied Pump Engineering (Pump Doctor) worked the majority of 16th September to rectify the blockage without success. This was due to large amounts of baby/flushable wipes continuously blocking and jamming the pumps. On 17th September, a large sucker truck attended site to extract the contents of the pit and clean out the debris. The pumps were again removed and cleaned. Unfortunately, this will continue to happen if items such as baby wipes or “flushable” wipes are put down the toilets. This type of work costs large amounts of money and causes an inconvenience to all North Shore Drive residents as during the blockage the toilets do not flush correctly. Therefore, we would like to again remind all owners and residents to be careful of what is flushed down the toilets. Please only flush toilet paper down your toilet. While some wipes are advertised as flushable, these wipes still create issues with the pumps on site. So we ask everyone to ensure only toilet paper is being flushed down the toilet. We thank you for your anticipated cooperation with this matter. If you have any queries regarding the above matter, please do not hesitate to contact our office via email at info@endeavourcove.com.au or on 8586 1300. Kind Regards, Ace Consulting

A work order has been issued to have these replaced and the pillars are being manufactured as I type this. Once the pillars are ready to be installed all owners and residents will be notified as the power will be turned off again while the upgrade is being undertaken. The residents around 60 Scarborough Drive may have also noticed that there is a barricade around the electrical pillar in front of 60 Scarborough Drive. This is because there are live wires under the box, and it must be secured from residents. Over time the pillar cover has deteriorated and will be replaced ASAP. In addition to the pillar upgrade, it has come to my attention that residents are not picking up after their dogs when they relieve themselves on common property. We ask that you also please pick up after your pets as it is a health hazard and just general courtesy to all residents living within the Endeavour Cove Community. Kindest Regards, Elizabeth Rock

Dear Owners & Residents of North Shore Drive, We write as owners corporation managers for the above property in relation to the recent issue with the pumps within Endeavour Cove over the Easter long weekend. Over the long weekend Applied Pump Engineering were called out to clear the blockage in the pump system. Again, a large amount of foreign matter was found in the pumps, including but not limited to towels, sanitary products, baby wipes, cotton buds, and plastic material. In addition to this, an excessive amount of fat was found to be in the pit. Please note this emergency attendance has cost the Owners Corporation in excess of $12,000. Therefore, we would like to again remind all owners and residents to be careful of what is flushed down the toilets. Please only flush toilet paper down your toilet. Photos of the foreign matter are attached on the next page (please refer to the attached document). Please ensure that you and/or your tenants are not flushing anything other than toilet paper down the toilets, as other items can get caught in the pumps, causing them to break. This is costing the owners corporation a large amount of money to repair/replace. Again, please ensure only toilet paper is being flushed down the toilet. We thank you for your anticipated cooperation with this matter. If you have any queries regarding the above matter, please do not hesitate to contact our office via email at info@endeavourcove.com.au or on 8586 1300. Kind Regards, Elizabeth Rock Property Manager Ace Body Corporate Consulting On behalf of the Owners Corporation
