Children's Outdoor Play Equipment
Throughout the Al Ghadeer community, there are extensive outdoor and shaded children’s play areas in the recreational parks.
Swimming Pool
There are a number of swimming pools at Al Ghadeer, spread amongst the villa and townhouse areas and within the apartment precinct. The swimming pools have been designed with adjoining children’s pool , securely located within the boundary walls of the Clubhouses. The pool decks include contemporary pool lounges, tables and chairs. All the pools at Al Ghadeer are temperature controlled which means you can swim all year round. The pools are open from 9am to 9pm, seven days a week and each pool facility is patrolled by trained lifeguards. Residents of the terraced apartments enjoy their own private pools.
BBQ
BBQ areas and outdoor dining facilities for apartment residents are located by the swimming pool areas of the apartment complexes Waha and Sabil.
Clubhouses
Townhouse and villa residents enjoy exclusive access to two dedicated residential community Clubhouses. They are centrally located on either side of the two major residential communities and contain pool facilities, a gymnasium, exercise rooms, a cafeteria, changing rooms, showers, lockers, etc. The Clubhouse manned reception operates from 6am-10pm, 7 days a week. Clubhouses for residents of apartment complexes Waha and Sabil also contain a pool and gymnasium facilities, with restricted access.
Change Room Facilities
Each Clubhouse has a ground floor change room facility for both male and female residents. These facilities include lockers, showers, bathrooms etc.
Gymnasium
In total there are four fully equipped gymnasiums at Al Ghadeer, located in the community Clubhouses. A typical Clubhouse gymnasium contains the latest fitness equipment. Gymnasiums are fully kitted out with the most up to date fitness equipment including cardiovascular and resistance training machines to provide a full body workout. The gym is opened from 6am to 10pm seven days a week. The gym and associated Clubhouses will be managed by a Khidmah Health & Clubhouse Manager dedicated to Al Ghadeer. There will also be exercise studios and community rooms located at Sabil and Waha, which will be available for all residents of the community to attend exercise classes (at a fee) and reserve the community room for gatherings, meetings etc.
Tennis Court
The multi-purpose / tennis court is located near the main entrance of the community. The court can be used for a number of sports including basketball, tennis and soccer. The hard-court surface has shaded benches for relaxing during points or for those wishing to observe court activities. Reservations for the court can be made through the Clubhouses or on the community web portal. Residents need to bring their own tennis rackets, balls and other required equipment. The court has flood lighting and is opened from 6am to 10pm, seven days a week.
Retail Shops
Al Ghadeer has an extensive central retail area on the ground floor street areas of the Waha and Sabil apartment precinct. As the staged handovers of all townhouse and apartments are completed, and the community moves towards full occupancy in late 2014, it is expected that Al Ghadeer will have over 3,158 square meters of retail shops comprising a supermarket, restaurants and cafés, along with your typical community specialty shops and services. Each of the residential Clubhouses will house its own cafeteria.
Car Parking
Secure underground car parking is provided for residents of the apartment complexes and direct undercover or protected garage car parking is provided for the townhouses and villas. Ample provision has been made for on street car parking in the residential areas.
Onsite Security
The entire Al Ghadeer community is protected 24/7 by onsite security. Security guards patrol the common areas and each of the different precincts. The security services are managed by Khidmah, who also supply MEP & FM Services, Cleaning, Pest Control and External Cleaning of Common Areas.
Landscaped Gardens
There is a significant amount of landscaping and grassed areas throughout the Al Ghadeer community. Many of the parks contain children’s play areas and are themed as follows …. Natural Waterfall Park, Forest Children Park, Arabic Breeze Park, Promenade Park, Oasis Park and Cloud Park.
Children's Pool
There is children’s pool / spa facilities located next to the main pools. Like the main pool, the children’s pool is open from 9am to 9pm, seven days a week and is patrolled by trained lifeguards.
